If you’re already using Flodesk Checkout with Stripe Standard Connect, Apple Pay and Google Pay are automatically enabled for your account. There’s no additional setup required, and no extra processing fees beyond your existing Stripe rates. (See below for location and browser restrictions.)

If you are a Flodesk Checkout member who is still using Stripe Express, upgrade your Stripe account to access this new feature.

Important notes about Apple Pay and Google Pay

  • Deactivating payment methods: Don’t want to offer these payment options? Log into your Stripe account, navigate to Settings > Payments > Payment Methods, then disable the payment method by clicking “turn off”
  • Device and browser support: Apple Pay is available on Safari for iOS and macOS devices, while Google Pay requires Google Chrome and a compatible device
  • Geographical restrictions: Availability may vary based on the buyer’s location
  • Currency Support: Not all currencies are compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay; you can find a comprehensive list of supported currencies on Stripe’s website
