Whether you’re running a fast-paced creative studio, managing multiple client accounts, or scaling your small business, collaboration is key. And now, Flodesk’s team seats feature makes working with others as seamless and secure as designing your next high-performing email.
Why we love team seats
When you invite team members into your Flodesk account, you’re not just sharing access—you’re unlocking a smarter way to scale your business. From streamlined content creation to crystal-clear permissions, you can now easily collaborate with clarity.
Let’s walk through how to set your team up for success.
Invite your team in just a few clicks
Adding team members to your Flodesk account takes only a few steps:
- Go to Account Settings > Team members
- Click Invite member
- Enter their email address
- Choose their role: Administrator, Manager, or Editor
- Hit Invite and let the collaboration begin
Each person will receive an email with instructions to join your account. Just note that invites expire after 14 days, and if they miss it, you’ll need to delete and resend the invite.
Choose the right role for each team member
Not every collaborator needs full access to your account. That’s why Flodesk offers three distinct roles, each designed to support different levels of responsibility.
Editors are your content creators. They can draft emails, build out workflows, and make changes to existing content, but they cannot publish or make broader changes to account settings. If they want to edit a published workflow, for example, they’ll need a Manager or Administrator to pause it first and republish once edits are complete.
Managers are a great fit for someone who handles the day-to-day operations of your marketing. They can create and publish campaigns and workflows, add integrations, moderate content, and download reports. But they won’t have access to billing or user management.
The Administrator role is ideal for the account creator or a deeply trusted team member. Administrators have full control: they can manage users, view and update billing information, access integrations, and create or delete content. Only one primary Administrator is allowed per account, and this role is not transferable.
Need to update a team member’s role or remove them? No problem. Just click the three-dot menu next to their name.
Working with multiple brands or clients
If you’re juggling multiple brands or working with clients who each have their own Flodesk account, you’re in luck. Flodesk supports a multi-account structure that lets you switch between up to 20 different accounts without logging in and out.
To switch accounts, click your profile image in the top right corner of your dashboard and select “Switch Accounts.” You’ll see a list of accounts you’ve been invited to, and from there, you can toggle between them seamlessly. It’s a great way to stay organized and keep a clear eye on all the projects you’re managing.
Each member owns at least one account but can collaborate across many, making this ideal for freelancers, agencies, or businesses with multiple brands. The account owner is always the primary Administrator, and this role cannot be changed.
Team seat by plan
The number of team seats available depends on your plan:
- Free plan: 1 seat (account owner only)
- Professional (Email only): 2 seats
- Advanced (Email + Checkout): 3 seats
By setting clear permissions and giving your team the ability to collaborate within Flodesk, you’re turning your email marketing into a more powerful, streamlined engine for growth.
